Happy Belated American Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful time with your family and friends over the holidays.
J and I drove up to Canada to spend a week with our families. We loved every minute of it! Spending time with loved ones is so good for the soul, isn't it?
While our friends and relatives south of the border gathered with their own families over turkey dinners, J and I spent the day helping his folks decorate Santa's sleigh. Every year, the Westport Lions Club hosts the Santa Claus Parade and J's dad plays Santa. Our family gets a big kick out it, especially when we see the excitement on the faces of the little ones.
In my next my next post, I'll post photos from the parade itself. It was a ho-ho-hoot!
